This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile app 11+ Practice Makes Perfect (Android package name com.learnlogic.elevenplusPractice; iOS bundle identifier com.learnlogic.elevenplusPractice), published by LearnLogic, and to its companion website Eleven Plus Ready (elevenplusready.uk). It explains how Star Analytical Services Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information about you and your child when you use the app and website.
1. Who We Are
The app 11+ Practice Makes Perfect is published under the developer name LearnLogic. LearnLogic is a trading name of Star Analytical Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11699028), with its registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG. Star Analytical Services Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. The app is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and its companion website is Eleven Plus Ready at elevenplusready.uk.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you register, we collect:
- Parent's first name and surname
- Parent's email address and password (encrypted)
- Child's first name
- Child's date of birth (used only to calculate exam year)
- Target exam year
- Subjects selected for practice
- Parent PIN (stored as a one-way hash)
2.2 Usage Data
When your child uses the app, we collect:
- Practice session results (questions answered, scores, time taken)
- Individual question answers and response times
- Mental Maths session results
- Sudoku puzzle completions
- Words of the Day viewed
- App login times and activity logs
2.3 Subscription and Payment Data
Premium subscriptions are purchased on our website only, not inside the app. We store your subscription status and end date. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
2.4 Support Messages
If you contact us, we keep your email address and the content of your message so that we can reply and resolve your query.
2.5 Technical Data
We may collect device type, operating system and app version for technical support purposes. We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, and the app does not contain third-party advertising or analytics tracking.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the 11+ Practice Makes Perfect service and personalise your child's practice experience
- Display progress analytics to parents
- Send password reset emails when requested
- Improve the quality of our question bank and features
- Comply with our legal obligations
- Communicate important service updates
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy very seriously. 11+ Practice Makes Perfect is designed for children preparing for the 11+ exam. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service. All accounts are registered by a parent or guardian, and parents have full control over their child's account.
We comply with the UK Children's Code (Age Appropriate Design Code) and do not use children's data for profiling, advertising or any purpose other than delivering the educational service.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure, hosted within the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for passwords and PIN numbers. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Parent Dashboard → Account Details → Delete My Account). This immediately and permanently deletes your account, your child's progress and all practice history, and cancels any paid subscription. You can also request deletion by emailing support@elevenplusready.uk from your registered address, or follow the steps on our Delete your account page, and we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Payment records held by our payment provider may be kept for as long as the law requires.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — correct any inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Restriction — request we limit how we use your data
- Objection — object to certain uses of your data

8. Third Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication provider
- IONOS — email delivery (welcome emails, password reset emails and support replies)
- Stripe — payment processing for website subscriptions (card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us)
- Google Play — for app distribution on Android
- Apple App Store — for app distribution on iPhone and iPad
- Netlify — for website hosting
These providers act as our data processors (or, for Google Play, the Apple App Store and Stripe, as independent providers for their own services). Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the app. Continued use of 11+ Practice Makes Perfect after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
